Michael Jackson Justice: White on White Truth in Plain Sight

God: Reconnect to Him

The Conspiracy against God is about "The Word", and the profaning of His Holy Name within us. Adam fell in the garden, breaking the direct connection to God. Jesus, the "last Adam" was a quickening Spirit, the Word made Flesh, and the only one with whom we can re-establish our relationship with God. Michael's story is still unfolding. He is the one who is, is not. But Jesus is the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Many are trying to rewrite HIStory. We were given a help to instruct us. Learn more "here".

White on White Truth in Plain Sight

October 4, 2010 – White on White Truth in Plain Sight

Isaiah 8: 11- 22:

11 For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:

12 “ Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’

Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy,

Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

13 The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow;

Let Him be your fear,

And let Him be your dread.

14 He will be as a sanctuary,

But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense

To both the houses of Israel,

As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

15 And many among them shall stumble;

They shall fall and be broken,

Be snared and taken.”

16 Bind up the testimony,

Seal the law among my disciples.

17 And I will wait on the LORD,

Who hides His face from the house of Jacob;

And I will hope in Him.

18 Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me!

We are for signs and wonders in Israel

From the LORD of hosts,

Who dwells in Mount Zion.

19 And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

21 They will pass through it hard-pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry, that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward. 22 Then they will look to the earth, and see trouble and darkness, gloom of anguish; and they will be driven into darkness."

In the message above from Isaiah, he is talking about the houses of Israel who have fallen away from God. They who connive and deceive to hide their transgressions will eventually be snared in their own deceptions and will fall and to not be troubled by their threats. The truth when exposed, should not be the source of fear, anger or hate to those who value it. Those who fear it will try to cover it up. They will use circular arguments, victim or martyrdom complex to try to instill doubt. If you leave them to their own devices, do not engage, and continue seeking the truth, their works will tell you who they are.

White On White

Between 1999 and 2005, I owned a marketing business. My “product” was to consult, write ad copy, organize and promote company web sites on the internet. We worked in search engine optimization, reciprocal linking, email marketing, sales lead generation and management amongst other specialties.

Back then people were still trying to capitalize on keyword optimization and one of the tricks used, was keyword saturation. This was done using hyperlinks within the body of the web text, linked text in the navigation bar instead of graphics such as buttons for a web site menu and keyword descriptions for other graphics such as pictures.

However, a little known trick that was used until the search engines caught on, was embedding invisible text which was keyword loaded into empty space on the web page. This was done by making the text the same color as the background on which it was located or what was called, “white on white”. This allowed a web site to capitalize on keyword saturation without destroying the coherency of the text. If one knew to hit “view source code” by right clicking within the web page, you could see the “white on white” embedded text, but just reading the actual web page, it was unnoticeable.

The keywords were hidden on the web page without sacrificing its readability. Michael’s lyrics were hidden in music as he tried to tell us what was happening, much in the same way parables in the Bible were understandable only to those with their eyes and ears open.

Truth in Plain Sight

In much the same way, truth is “hidden” in plain sight through much of the elements of events surrounding the death of Michael Jackson. You either close your eyes to it, look right at it and don’t see it, or you right click and view source code.

There is truth hidden in plain site in Michael’s song lyrics. There is truth hidden in plain sight in the actions of those seeking to deceive. There is truth hidden in plain sight in the testimony of those in Michael’s family, and testimony of those who know what happened, but cannot talk. If we listen. If we right click.

When the truth is exposed, sometimes for the first time it hits air, it is always wise to stand back and watch the reactions. Those trying to cover up the truth always reveal themselves.

Since the Ganesha Om post, first the Twitter abuse started (Twitter-stalking?) then it got real quiet. Posts on several facebook pages was brought to my attention but that too died down. Then everyone seemingly disappeared. Then, two days later, private messages and web site contact forms start trickling in. The first ones (five of them now) are on the Ganesha Om list, asking me to take their name off. Well, I didn’t make up the list, THEY are the ones who joined it. However, it is fair to say, that since Karen did seem to abandon it about the same time that she closed her facebook page, a few of the people on the list may not have known what it was they were signing up for. But most did.

Just the sheer level of deception that has gone on within this core group of mostly women should tell you just how deep the conspiracy was surrounding Michael. Michael tries, without going into detail due to his trial, to explain just how mired he was in danger during his interview with Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Truth in the lyrics

They Don’t Care About Us

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, aggravation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Bang bang, shot dead
Everybody's gone mad

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Beat me, hate me
You can never break me
Will me, thrill me
You can never kill me
Jew me, sue me
Everybody do me
Kick me, kike me
Don't you black or white me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Tell me what has become of my life
I have a wife and two children who love me
I am the victim of police brutality, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of hate
You're rapin' me of my pride
Oh, for God's sake
I look to heaven to fulfill its prophecy...
Set me free

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
trepidation, speculation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
black man, black male
Throw your brother in jail

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Tell me what has become of my rights
Am I invisible because you ignore me?
Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now
I'm tired of bein' the victim of shame
They're throwing me in a class with a bad name
I can't believe this is the land from which I came
You know I do really hate to say it
The government don't wanna see
But if Roosevelt was livin'
He wouldn't let this be, no, no

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, speculation
Everybody litigation
Beat me, bash me
You can never trash me
Hit me, kick me
You can never get me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Some things in life they just don't wanna see
But if Martin Luther was livin'
He wouldn't let this be

Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, segregation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Kick me, strike me
Don't you wrong or right me

All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us

Listening to this song even the very first time, I heard it distinctly as an anti-establishment song. The song is about “They”. Who is they?

They = The justice system, the legal system, the health care system, the educational system, the local government, state, federal, world governments and even some of the global charities set up specifically to fatten the pockets of those within the U.N. controlling the funds . . . The SYSTEM, on up the chain of command. The Machine.

The message = They don’t really care about us. And he’s right. They don’t.

The first two verses were laden with “labels” that Michael accuses the system of using to categorize people, to cause division, distrust and disharmony. This is what “the groups” that first appeared on Karen Faye’s page began doing to splinter the fan base.

Divided and fighting each other, control through oppression becomes easier. Michael sings that he can be beaten and hated but you can never break him. He continues with “Will me, thrill me, You can never kill me Jew me, sue me, Everybody do me, Kick me, kike me. Don't you black or white me” . . . he tells us that recognizes the labels and that he will not adhere to them.

Some of the emails and private messages I have received have been vitriol-laden accusations, calling me a “fundamentalist”, a “right-wing extremist”, a “Conservative” (why these are bad, I don’t know but I digress…) and what that had to do with the issue was absolutely nothing. The point of their attack was specifically to denigrate me. Addressing the issue at hand was beyond their comprehension because if they had dealt with the issue at hand, they would have lost. So instead, they denigrate, label and name-call. This is not just going on in the MJ community now, it is and has been going on in society since the days of Hitler.

This verse – “Tell me what has become of my life. I have a wife and two children who love me, I am the victim of police brutality, now . . . I'm tired of bein' the victim of hate, You're rapin' me of my pride, Oh, for God's sake . . . I look to heaven to fulfill its prophecy...Set me free” - This verse just establishes again as in many of his songs, that Michael is a man of faith and he wants God to come and “right” everything. Perhaps he feels this is the only way the hate and brutality will ever be dealt with. This particular verse is rather heart breaking. His faith in his fellow man is waning and his plea to be set free, either through death or prophecy . . . the end. Revelation.

The verse – “Tell me what has become of my rights. Am I invisible because you ignore me? Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now . . . I'm tired of bein' the victim of shame They're throwing me in a class with a bad name. I can't believe this is the land from which I came . . . You know I do really hate to say it, The government don't wanna see, But if Roosevelt was livin', He wouldn't let this be, no, no…” –

He sings of the eroding away of our rights and although Michael has NEVER been ignored (probably wishes that occasionally he were), I believe he is referring to various classes of people being ignored over special interests. They “greater good” for the majority has given way to the limited good of the special interests. Michael rails against being labeled then having that label denigrated into something to be ashamed of and specifically, when mentioning the land from which he came, nails the United States and the way he was being treated in the press and by the legal system.

Remember this song was written shortly after the 1993 allegations and even into 1996, then D.A. Tom Sneddon was flying across the globe trying to find people to testify against Michael on charges he hadn’t even been brought up on. Michael at this point has endured public conviction, a strip search and photograph session of his privates, his and his parents homes ransacked and he had never been arrested. Two grand juries would not allow Sneddon to file charges because there WAS NO EVIDENCE, yet two years later, Sneddon is still on an international witch hunt that cost California tax payers millions!

Michael’s song “They Don’t Care About Us” was the first “anti-establishment” song I heard from him. When I first listened to the words, I couldn’t believe they had banned it. Michael couldn’t either, considering the content of most of your RAP songs. It was banned not because it contained the word “Kike” in the lyrics, but because it was an anti establishment song. Even though members of the press are the ones who misinterpreted the lyrics, it was Michael who twice had to apologize, then promise to change the lyrics on any subsequent albums this song would appear on.

Ironic that the governments of several countries ban a song against discrimination and division by claiming the song was bigoted. Very similar to what they did to Michael’s advocacy and love for the world’s forgotten children in turning that into something ugly as well.

If Only We Had Listened Michael…

  1. Believe it or not, but this is one of very few songs of Michael's that my Hubby actually LOVES! However, he was unaware that the short film had two versions. (I educated him there.) He loved the "prison version" short film better than the Brazilian streets version.

It ticked us both off that the "prison version" was banned here in the US, because we both felt that the "storyline" in that short film explained and conveyed the emotions of the song's lyrics in clearer detail. But shh....the US are the "good guys", and we've all grown up and done away with our social prejudices on multiple levels in our society. Yeah...cough...sure...cough...gag. Can I burn the "ol' stars n' stripes" to show my disgust now? Let freedom ring...Bah! Humbug!

  2. Lady - Uh . . . you have a husband? You mean . . . somebody puts up with you? LOL!!!! (I say that in Love!!!)

Awww, don't blame the flag. There were good intentions when we started out and our constitution (if we FOLLOWED IT) is a good document. We're the ones who got lazy and let them do this to us. (Doesn't excuse them, I know).

I agree with you. They used the excuse of the "words" being the reason it was banned but that is bull. I've listened to TuPac, I've heard Notorius Big, Eminem (and for that I'm sorry), Snoop Dog and I guess it's okay to denegrate women and blacks in songs, but using a jewish slang word in a song that calls attention to the separation of the races and his gets banned? You know why? You know who's running the the Entertainment industry now, or at least who controls most of it . . .

I too liked the prison version better because it was closer to story line and I loved Michael slapping the nightstick away from him.

Also, the U.S. is not the only ones with this problem . . . this is a global problem. The U.S. is just one country in a cabal that is running the social pecking order of the globe.

  3. Another banned song of Michael's was "Who Is It" because (we were told) it dealt with the world's oldest profession; however I just didn't see the correlation. It eventually was "allowed" in the US. I did think it was a very slick vid, and another thought provoking Michael video about distrust and abandonment.

  4. June - Who is it is one of those mysterious songs of his and I just love the concept in the video, but even though it gives the impression that it is about the "oldest profession" the lyrics tell a quite different story.

I will be doing one of these on "Who it it".

  5. "Lady - Uh . . . you have a husband? You mean . . . somebody puts up with you? LOL!!!! (I say that in Love!!!)"

Hey...it's not my fault there is a wee bit o' Irish runnin' thru me veins now. LOL! But, topping things off there's a bit of German, Polish, and Russian in the gene pool too. And, so they say Michael was strong-willed. Ha! Maybe it's a good thing we never met up in this life. The "fireworks" might have been pretty spectacular at times. LOL! But yeah, Hubby...he puts up with me, but I also put up with him. He's running French and Norwegian. So, we're even. LOL!

"Awww, don't blame the flag. There were good intentions when we started out and our constitution (if we FOLLOWED IT) is a good document. We're the ones who got lazy and let them do this to us. (Doesn't excuse them, I know)."

I don't blame the flag. But, we shouldn't be waving that flag when you look at the symbolism and the history of it, and what since this Nation has become. :(

"You know who's running the the Entertainment industry now, or at least who controls most of it..."

Adam Sandler sang it best in his song, "Happy Hanukkah" where he mentions that MOST showbiz people are like he...Jewish! LOL!!! It's true though. So, there ya go. But worse, "They Don't Really Care About Us" is a song that ticked off Steven Spielberg, who openly bashed it as being "anti-semetic." Now note...Spielberg was supposedly a "good friend" of Michael's. Hmm...cough... yeah...cough...right.

  6. Bonnie – I love the analogy you gave using Isaiah and the early usage of hyperlinks with the hidden messages of Michael. It is true when you expose lies and deceptions to light at first there is going to be chaotic situations until it calm down. Usually what you expose hides for a while to come back in full force to attack. But if you continue to bring them to the light the truth will prevail.

Is it Michael’s choice or was he forced to do the video of “They don’t care about us” in another country? I have heard that they will not allow him to do the video here in USA. If that is true, who are “they” won’t let him?

Those who call you “fundamentalist” and so on have no clue that your fight for justice for Michael has nothing to do with it. For me I don’t care what political affiliation and religious belief you have. You have the full right to be whatever you chose and it’s your life. My concern is are you true to Michael? The answer is YES.

As you said, “Addressing the issue at hand was beyond their comprehension because if they had dealt with the issue at hand, they would have lost”. It is absolutely true. The concern should be what can we do together to bring justice and keep Michael’s legacy, not what political party you support and what religion group you belong.

I am sorry to say this, I have no respect for these kind of people who don’t want to address the main issue at hand instead they try to divert and mislead everyone.

I am so happy that you stand still in truth as much as they try to denigrate you. They are the same kind of people who were denigrating Michael for years and send him to his early grave.

  7. Bonnie,

I'm still waiting for you to tell me what kind of pendant Sam was wearing in that picture.

I enlarged the photo but still couldn't make out what the pendant was.

    Now, I'm curious about it.

    Please...Do Tell!

  8. If you want to see anti-establishment check out a band called Strike Anywhere. They are from USA and play many shows. I guess because they aren't on main stream radio they aren't "banned" as Michael was with TDRCAU.

  9. You Bonnie (thanks, beautiful insight of Michel's lyrics and so much more, <3) -
I ardently wish I could convey how STRONGLY I feel about TDCAU and the ban issue..... because this has had me mad as *el* for years. For years.
The HYPOCRISY of it all is such that almost makes me laugh. I've always felt like shouting out "are you kidding me? you must be all kidding me". Accusing Michael of making insulting remarks???? This is exactly what they did when Black or white came out. Ridiculous!!!
    Liars!!
Michael scared "Them". Oh, did he scare "Them". They tried to silence him in every possible way. But to accuse HIM of making offensive remarks with those lyrics, well - it's hard to top such nonsense.
Michael was a rebel in his own way, and rebels must be taught a lesson, apparently.
And the funny (NOT) thing is, even today, if you try and say how Michael was a revolutionary and how he stood for Humanity's rights, people will laugh at you and answer "Pardon? He was a pop singer, what you talkin' about?".
The system succeded in changing the public perception of Michael as someone who "lost it" after reaching stardom and, therefore, someone with zero credibility whatsoever (the everchanging weirdo, the scary mary poppins, the paedo, the drug addict who basically killed himself - they are so unbearably patronizing now when they concede that, yes, he did some great music).
The world at large, though it physically hurts me to admit this - sees Michael the way the system wanted us to see him.
It's up to us to try and fight for him, because we know the truth, and frankly, I am baffled at seeing how most people can be so blind.

Songs like They Don't Care About Us or Black or White are so clear in their message.... but most of his songs are.
I truly hope one day, bonnie, you will dedicate a post to the wonder that is Will you Be There...... Bless Michael's precious brave soul, and Bless you.

  10. Hello Bonnie,

I've very much enjoyed the postings you've done on this song as well as 'Scream' and 'Stranger in Moscow'.

I'm new to blogging and am going to be focusing mainly on fictional MJ stories (justice related - not sure about romance yet but IF I do incorporate romance it will be old fashioned - NO love scenes).

I wanted to ask you if you would mind me providing a link to your blog. For example these three songs (I don't always want to use Wikipedia) and I like your approach.

I understand that you may want to check me out first before agreeing and that's perfectly fine with me.

As I said I'm new. I don't really understand all the drama within MJ community but I am sorry you have been experiencing it.

Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon. I imagine you just click on my name?

  11. Off topic but ....

I don't see this anywhere, Bonnie, tomorrow Wednesday, Lisa Marie Presley is being interviewed by Oprah for the entire hour. Let's hope time has softened her a bit and she doesn't let Oprah rule the discussion. I's hyped that she will discuss her relationship with Michael and compare her father, Elvis, with Michael.

  12. Bonnie, I've always loved this song but I have to say I never quite understood why it was banned. It's not inciting hatred but merely protesting whilst raising consciousness. I always thought it was banned because of the anti semitic words but that did seem trivial to me. Honestly, I could never see what the big deal was. Personally, I've always preferred the Brazilian version - ah Michael looks good in that video clip and it's so colourful to watch. It's one of the few videos I've seen of Michael with a short sleeve shirt on.

Compared to some of the really graphic sexual and violent lyrics in the rap and hip hop genre, this song is pure innocence. I know I'm old fashioned but I really don't like guys singing about their "bitches" and their "ho's" - it makes me cringe. Where's the value and where's the romance? I like music that makes me feel good and being a woman, that doesn't make me feel good.

I have listened to that whole excellent interview with Jesse Jackson many times and always get a lot out of it.

  13. Very enlightening Bonnie. Social pecking order, you got that right. You hit the nail on the head about his use of labels. It's disturbing how people misunderstand his lyrics.

I want to add that I think Michael also 1.) speaks loudly in defense of blacks as well as 2.) questions some of their positions furthering oppression against their brothers. (That goes across the board though when you consider civil servants, who are part of citizenry, becoming more like the long arm of government oppression upon their own.)

1.) I believe "proclamation" is specifically referring to The Emancipation Proclamation:

"...shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the Executive Government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons, and will do no act or acts to repress such persons, or any of them, in any efforts they may make for their actual freedom."
    http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/featured_documents/emancipation_proclamation/transcript.html

The government continues to repress blacks. They are not abiding by that legal document. Add to that, oppression inflicted upon all of us. They are not abiding by The Constitution either.

    2.) "black man, black male
    Throw your brother in jail"
Notice this part in the video where he hits away the black guard's baton (black man), then points to himself (black male).

I believe this is used differently than the labels:
"Jew me, sue me" - "I got jewed", "he jewed me": Origin - "to cheat, to drive a hard bargain," 1824. It reflects a reputation EARNED in BUSINESS dealings. In today's political correct society it has been translated into an anti-semitic insult.

So, what was Michael trying to tell us?

Scots have a similar reputation. My father was known to "get boot". In other words, getting something to boot - in addition to, a sweet deal, unfairly coming out on top, taking advantage. That's a fact, a reputation earned. I certainly don't take offense.

The term semitic has evolved into (only) meaning "Jewish".

semitic - "a subfamily of Afroasiatic languages that includes Akkadian, arabic, Aramaic, Ethiopic, Hebrew, and Phoenician."

So technically, people accusing Michael of being anti-semitic are also accusing him of being anti-African. We know that is not so. He embraced ALL cultures and people!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lady - Well you and I share some of the same gene pool then, at least the Irish part. I was always proud of that. My grandmother looked like a miniature Maureen O'Hara. Have the German on my dad's side. Yeah, of course Stephen Spielberg would bash it as being anti-semetic. Probably to cover up that he STOLE the Dreamworks Idea and LOGO from Michael to begin with!

Mimi - I think Michael did the "prison" version of the video in a prison in the Philippines. They probably would not let him film at a prison in the U.S. But it also could have been his choice, but since the prison version banned in a few places he filmed the one in Rio de Janero. That is the version of that story that I read.

See that is the problem. The ones that are true to Michael and justice for him are marginalized by this group as soon they ask a question they don't like. What they think they are doing is beyond reasoning. Like I said before, I think Sony hired them all from the same mental ward and Karen is nurse Ratchet. Samantha is now out there posting and bashing Jermaine and calling people who liked his tribute "hypocritical and sad" ???? 'scuse me, but isn't this the same woman that said the family INVITED HER to the memorial???

The family is on to them and every time doors get shut in their faces, as is what happened to Taaj, they go on the attack. That is exactly what we are seeing with Sam now. Sooner or later the only people listening to them will be the very same trolls Sony hired.

Lonelytruth - Thank you for the links for that group. I love digging into lyrics of songs. It's like getting into the minds of those who wrote them. You're right. They banned it because it was HIS song. They began trying to cut him down as soon as he bought that catalog.

Simo this is exactly what controlling elitists want people to believe. We have become so dependent on other people telling us what is right and wrong, we don't even bother to investigate ourselves . . . and those few that DO investigate and put out the real truth get denegrated as crazy, or "conspiracy theorists" or "haters, bigots" or "fundementalists" or any number of labels they can come up with and most people give up or shut up. Others go under ground.

This is what our nightly news has turned into. Our newspapers. New York Times? ANY of the "Times"? They are propaganda pieces and nothing more. There is no more truth in them then what was lip-synched by the last politician on the podium.

I saw the hate directed at Colony because they were helping Michael with his businesses and trying to save them. I saw the hate directed at Anschutz because he bought into Rupert Murdock and pieces of entertainment companies. Anschutz is a conservative Christian. He is very ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT AGENDA and this is what you see out there , is the pile-on. This is their tactics.

We think only Michael dealt with this? No! Michael only helped bring this struggle and the awareness of it to the surface.

It was Stalin who said (in Russian) that if you control the Media and the press (the information) you control the people. Michael's "Stranger in Moscow", the title itself is a metaphor . . . Michael didn't buy into the "agenda". A stranger in the entertainment industry and the ultimate objective of those running it.

Same thing with people in my church. The ones I have talked to about this . . . they KNOW the news lies but are still unwilling to admit that perhaps they LIED about Michael. They just can't get over that fence.

  18. On a personal note -

This whole discussion with Simo above has me really upset now and I am angry. When you think about how HARD this man fought, how loving he remained and the personal sacrifice he made to try and tell us what he saw going on. He put himself out there.

I was talking to my husband last night about this and I want you to think about this . . .

When Hitler took control, what segment of the population did he target for control?

    The YOUTH!

What segment of our population has been and is being targeted for assimilation into this "global" economy, and turned away from God?

    Our Youth.

Who did God put in Michael's heart to reach out to and love?

    The Children.

    What happened as a result?

Those targeting our children made sure no one saw what Michael's true mission was. They turned it into something so heinous that even those faithfully oriented had a hard time coming to terms with anything OTHER than who the media told us Michael was.

If that is not reason enough alone to fight this battle . . . for our children and take up that fight they took Michael out of, I don't know what is!!!!

If you would like to link to the lyrics of Michael's songs here, absolutely! Just know that I don't claim to know exactly what Michael was saying all the time. This is just my interpretation based on what was going on in Michael's life when the songs were written.

I have seen some of the fictional blogs out there about Michael and yes, even one that was fantasy oriented. I didn't like it at all, it is incredibly disrespectful. Michael has had enough "fiction" written about him his whole life. So much so that the truth is now much more interesting in the sense of how far away from it the media went in telling us who Michael was.

  20. Okay, this is another song of Michael I completely not pay attention to the lyrics until now. God bless you Bonnie. I know you are here for a good reason. Thank you for educating me and all of us.

I still do not understand how this song could be interpreted as anti Semitic and derogatory because the word “kike” and Michael had to apologize and change some of the lyrics? In that case, why is that some songs these days with very offensive and derogatory lyrics are not banned?

I thought we live in a country where we have “Freedom of Speech” or our “Freedom” is not really true. I believe the lyrics was intentionally misinterpreted to denigrate him saying “how dare he is exposing the establishment (the media, the government) to the world”. This how you get attacked whenever you tell the truth.

This is how they are eroding the constitution by taken away our freedom bit by bit. I just read that the song was a top ten hit in Europe but not in USA because radio station was afraid to play it. Afraid of what? Oh I got it, they are run by big corporation who run the media after all.

Our “Freedom” is only on paper. In the country where the greatest democracy practiced in the world, we still suffer with no privacy, we don’t have a true freedom of speech, what we say always taken out of line and subjected to condemnations and labeling, so we are not too far from those countries who silence their citizens to let them remain in the dark.

I'm tempted to apologize for making you angry, but I realize it was not me, darling....
And besides - I am mad as hell, honestly. For those very same reason.
I am a mother, too - and though Michael has been a part of my life -well- forever, I look at him, at what was done to him, what IS BEING DONE to him still, with different eyes and with a heavier, though hopefully wiser, heart.
My daughter's future is at stake, just like the future of all of our children all of Michael's children.
We MUST be angry. And we must help others to open their eyes and their heart...... Love

I don't watch or support Oprah.

Karin said - "h Michael looks good in that video clip and it's so colourful to watch. It's one of the few videos I've seen of Michael with a short sleeve shirt on. "

LOL, You know what? You're right. Short sleeves and he was not that skinny. Somebody had even wrote me about his elbows and I had to look at that version of the video to see what they were talking about. But I still like the prison version better just because I believe it fits the theme better. There is good discussion about the industry oppressing this song further up.

Truthbetold said - "want to add that I think Michael also 1.) speaks loudly in defense of blacks as well as 2.) questions some of their positions furthering oppression against their brothers. (That goes across the board though when you consider civil servants, who are part of citizenry, becoming more like the long arm of government oppression upon their own.)"

I wanted to touch on something you said here because I agree with everything you said except this one thing (well, in part anyway).

I believe it was not just black's he was speaking out for but all people. His mention of "brother" and "black man" in this part of the lyrics brings to mind what they accused him of . . . "trying to be white" which was incredibly insensitive to his skin disorder and inaccurate.

I saw a write up on Michael once in response to his speech in Harlem, calling Tommy Mottola a racist. The writer says, "Now, he embraces the black community?"

Well, he NEVER LEFT IT!!! Because Michael appealed to everybody of every walk of life and SPOKE for all who were being victimized, they also turned THAT around to him being an "Uncle Tom" of sorts. Michael touched on that in his song, (his own race throwing him under the bus because they believed the media's lies about Michael abandoning his race.) And to bring attention to what they were doing to each other because of what the media was drilling into their heads.

  23. A recent posting response to the blog update I did in August on June Gatling. I told the person I would post it here as well. It's nice to hear about someone that encountered June in person:

    _____________________________________________
have mixed feelings about her. I first encountered her at Forest Lawn. She was there with a cameraman who I recognized as the attractive black man with dreads from TMZ!!! She then attempted to sneak into Holly Terrace and was prevented from doing so by a security guard. So what does that tell you? If she was so close to him and to Kathryn why wasn't she invited to the memorial or the funeral or given access to Holly Terrace? I saw her again at an event at the Sheraton Universal. She was supposed to speak to a group of Michael Jackson fans. There were only a few present at 10 am on a Sunday.
She stood in the doorway obviously annoyed, saying she wanted to go get breakfast, get some grits, she spoke to presidents and governors, etc. She was with Sheryl Cooley from the band Klymaxx. I also get a real hate whitey vibe from her in person and from her posts on Facebook. Someone, another psychic persuaded her to stay and more people arrived. She sings well and was more tolerant with the young fans once she had an audience. As far as I know Michael Jackson was about love. He did not hate white people. He did not claim to be a Saint, although he said in interviews he tried to emulate Christ. He was polite and kind to his fans, even if there were only three or four of them. I would not take this woman seriously as she is using her "connection" to Michael Jackson like everyone else.... to make money or influence people. I guess she has to make a living too. She is welcome to express her opinion on facebook of course. But I would take her with a grain of salt as they say.

  24. Geeze, do these people ever stop?

I am getting the same people private messaging me about taking THEIR NAME off the Ganesha Om list claiming I am "harming" them . . .

'Scuse me folks . . . who twisted your arm to willfully join this group? Not me!

    My GROUP reply:

You are the one who joined Ganesha Om. If you had not your name would not be on there. There are names of friends of mine on that list as well.

Please do not think I am naive enough to believe your argument that being on that list is going to harm your ability to change your name. I am not harming anyone by posting a list of names of a group of people who willingly joined it.

Again, you willingly joined the group. I did not make you do that. So the harm was done by your actions, not mine.

    That is my final response.

    God Bless.

  25. Bonnie – I was thinking this. Have you ever had any idea what kind of awakening you are doing worldwide by going in depth of Michael’s songs and what he was trying to portray?

Chills run into my vain every time you look into the deeper meaning of his songs and you let us look at them straight in our eyes and our heart. Who is doing this folks, who? Nothing I found across the World Wide Web. And they try to denigrate you for letting us know the greatest man that ever walked the planet? That is pure sickening.

I am not saying you should brag about it and I can tell it’s not in your nature, but what I am saying is letting the world know in depth who Michael was/is is the greatest contribution you can ever give to this world. You should really be happy about it. This is what I called keeping his legacy and spread his greatness and his deep love for humanity. I also appreciate, respect, and give high regard for all those who contribute to this blog. See, spreading the truth and letting the world know who Michael was/is and his mission, depend on all of us. Let the spirit of God and his DIVINE LOVE be upon all of you. TRUE LOVE WILL WIN.

  33. Bonnie ~

I totally agree with everything you said in response to my comment!

    When I said this:
"want to add that I think Michael also 1.) speaks loudly in defense of blacks as well as 2.) questions some of their positions furthering oppression against their brothers.(That goes across the board though when you consider civil servants, who are part of citizenry, becoming more like the long arm of government oppression upon their own.)

Maybe I wasn't very clear but to me, I've said this before, it's the complexity of his lyrics. On the surface he is saying something specific, in this case black man to black guard, which is within the bigger picture of person to "authority" figure and like you said...so much more!

We are all brothers, we are all one, we are the world. But, we remain divided. I saw a movie tonight about Woodstock. It was amazing, such peaceful unity and love.

"Now, he embraces the black community?"

Well, he NEVER LEFT IT!!! Because Michael appealed to everybody of every walk of life and SPOKE for all who were being victimized, they also turned THAT around to him being an "Uncle Tom" of sorts. Michael touched on that in his song, (his own race throwing him under the bus because they believed the media's lies about Michael abandoning his race.) And to bring attention to what they were doing to each other because of what the media was drilling into their heads."

It is shameful and just plain heartbreaking what was done to him from every angle to make sure he didn't fit anywhere, to make sure people would not listen to his message.

It's sickening!!! They shall one day reap what they have sown! It's karma, it's the laws of nature, it's scripture. They don't stand a freakin' chance of escaping what they...one and all...have done and continue to do!

I so appreciate your perspective Bonnie in expanding upon what I said. So many other people's perspectives too help me to see so much more the depths and breadth of Michael's mind and message. Thank you!

  34. Speaking about the Jermaine bashing going on, a lot of it could be due to this:

    Jermaine Commands Michael Jackson Army:
    http://foreign.peacefmonline.com/entertainment/201010/88631.php

Some Michael fans could have found such offensive. In a sense, I am offended that anyone would try to take Michael's spot as "General" if you will. I realize that Jermaine may very well have good intentions, but I really wish that he would simply just be himself. He really needs to learn to leave Michael out of it. I say this out of respect, not hate. I KNOW that Jermaine has talent, and I KNOW he can be successful. All he needs is faith in HIMSELF to do so. Unfortunately, this seems to be a constant problem for him. So please Jermaine...don't try to be Michael. Just be YOU!

    ReplyDelete
  35. "I am getting the same people private messaging me about taking THEIR NAME off the Ganesha Om list claiming I am "harming" them . . . "

The only harming going on with that list was they these people thought that they were "so slick" in creating multiple names, etc. and now those names have seen the light of day. That's all. It's also reasonable I'm sure to believe that these same people have created a whole lot of other names besides the ones on that list as well! But, in any case...the only people "harming them" are themselves. They knew what they WERE doing, they know what they ARE doing, and now...so do others!

If these people honestly have done nothing wrong, or have nothing to hide, then why are they fearful of their multiplicities being made known? Sorry...I find that odd, and so should everyone else.

In my case, it's shown me that these people are obsessive and phonies. If you can't be yourself, don't try to be any one else. It just doesn't work, and truth always comes out anyway. In any case, I can understand why Michael's bodyguards said that Michael didn't like them around. He obviously knew something...

I agree with you Lady. However, I also empathize with Jermaine's situation since he's been in his brother's shadow for so long, and really he still is. Not making excuses for him, just stating fact. Hopefully he will eventually find his own "voice," as it were, and speak from his heart as he says he wants to carry on Michael's legacy. It's already been a bumpy road for him over the last 15 months. (Several events he tried to plan fell through due to poor planning.) I hope he sticks to what's in his heart and doesn't become led astray. I do wish him the best.

And as luck would have it, the Oprah/Lisa interview is cancelled, at least for now; maybe all "those crazed Michael Jackson fans" deluging Oprah's site had some effect! Hee-hee.

Lady, I agree with you about Jermaine; I was commenting about it to my husband tonight that Jermaine must stop trying to be Michael! This is not "Jermaine bashing"; he can have his own career again if he needs the money, but it needs to be HIS music, not Michael's. Tonight Liza Minelli was on Larry King's show and said she would not attempt to sing the songs of her mother, Judy Garland. If Liza can realize the sanctity of her mother's songs, and her mother's special gift, Jermaine should be able to do the same as respects Michael. He has a decent voice, but no one can sing Michael like Michael, and no one should try, even as a tribute.

  46. SandyK and Lady - about Jermaine - then I'll lay off him. Michael, bless his soul, worked all his life to carve out and create his career. We all know the remarkable gifts he possessed. When Michael went "solo" what happened to the remaining brothers? Not too much career wise, the reason being they didn't have the talent, charisma and work ethic possessed by Michael and so were destined to be overshadowed by his enormous gifts. A very high barrier to overcome. But there is a reminiscence for all things Jackson now and Jermaine can move to recreate a career for himself, just, please, do it without Michael's songs! I wish him well.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @June,

I also saw Liza and Larry tonight and 100% agree with you regarding your comments on Jermaine. Don't try to "do" or "be" Michael. Be yourself.

I must say that I was very impressed with Jermaine during Michael's memorial last year when he sang "Smile." Beautifully done and totally from the heart! I was definitely O.K. with him doing that song since it isn't specifically a Michael song. Just in case you don't know, it was written by Charlie Chaplin many decades ago and has been sung by many people over the years. In recent years the song was being identified with Michael. Of course, he was a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin.

Yes, I also agree that no one else really should "do" Michael, but there is a person that comes very close vocally, if I may be so bold. Do you remember Judith Hill? She sang with Michael in TII and at the end of Michael's memorial service last year. The songs that she has done of his she has performed truly brilliantly. Of course, Michael is an original and CAN'T be replaced. Not ever!

    ReplyDelete
  48. @June,

I appreciated your comment. You are right about the "talent-gap" between the brothers and Michael. His talent and work ethic was amazing! That's why I mentioned I hope Jermaine will find, and I should have added, be happy with his OWN voice and his OWN songs. You're right he/they will always be overshadowed.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I did not see the reason for the anger directed at Jermaine over this. I would agree with the sentiments of showcasing his own style and voice, but I don't get the same "resentment" feeling that I see posted on Facebook concerning his singing Michael's songs. If it was a tribute, what else is he supposed to sing? Lots of people are out there copying Michael as a tribute and they are not getting slammed.

    Navi will never be Michael
E Casanova will never be Michael
That little Turkish boy will never be Michael
So why do they beat on Jermaine?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @SandyK, yes I remember Jermaine singing Smile at the memorial and asking myself how could he do it at such an emotional time for him. It was really from the heart. I've been thinking that we won't hear many of Michael's songs now that he is gone because there is just no one who can "cover" them with grace and honor. I was watching the video of the Dangerous Tour in Bucharest in 1992; just amazing how he could sing and dance together and how he put everything he had into every element of his performance.

If you saw Liza on Larry's show tonight, you will recall their discussion of Michael; Liza said something about Michael having knee problems (she herself had a knee replaced), and I thought again about those tremendous spins and then falling on his knees, sometimes with, sometimes without kneepads. I don't think we will see Jermaine try those moves! But, again, I wish him the best in a resurgence of his career.

I was so looking forward to it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. @June - You mention Michael's knees and it reminds me of the first time I saw him during (was it an MTV special?) where he sang "Man in the Mirror". He was dressed in a blue, long sleeve shirt, white T underneath and black pants and his every-present loafers. At the end of the song, he breaks into a "southern gospel" style ad-lib and does that spin and goes crashing to the floor and I FELT THAT all the way up though my femur! Andre had to help him to his feet, then he did it too more times! It was after THAT we started seeing knee pads on him.

I sent that video clip to my mother and she said she got goosebumps and she doesn't even like Michael . . . much (I'm changin' her mind! Her Mind! Jam on! LOL) Sorry . . . should I leave the mimicking to Jermaine?

I don't know...I really don't care about them. They don't really care about Michael either. If they did, they'd stop being so obsessed with themselves, stop bashing his family-- most notably Jermaine, and be more "Mike-like". They have a LOT to learn. Their enemy is not you nor this blog site. Their enemy is clearly seen every time they look in their mirrors, and every time they rant and rave on public twitter accounts, MJ community sites, Facebook pages, and whatnotall. If that's all they're worth...then let them "go to it." I'm sure that their antics draw trolls as well, some of which could be pretty powerful and they could be reporting on how MJ's fans are a bunch of lunatics, not to be taken seriously because of it as well and not just to the Media. But, these foolish drama queens out there fail to see that.

Eventually people will get tired of their drama, and no one will listen at all to them. As a matter of fact, chances are all the numbers of their "follow/friends" lists are meaningless. Probably more than half of them don't even read their crap in the first place. These sorts just take up cyberspace in "being there." They don't respond to anything posted, they don't say anything. Their name and photo is just...well...there, and that's it. It's all "window dressing" nothing more...nothing less.

So, I say...BIG whoop-dee-doo-dah about them and their childishness. The thing is...I'm NOT the only one with the same opinion either.

Many MJ fans may have indeed been looking forward to it for both positive and negative reasons. I for one, in any case remember the LAST time LMP was interviewed by Oprah. I won't tune in again anyway. So, it's no big loss to me.

  61. Hi Bonnie,

First thank you so much for this wonderful blog. You seem like a very good researcher (can't say that for myself lol, I get lost in so much information). I've been reading for quite a while but haven't commented.
I apologize that the first thing I am going to touch upon is karen Faye.

In wasn't around when all those groups formed nor am I familiar with a lot of that has been going on, sure there's some info on forums etc, but not being able to directly read some of the things it is said she wrote, I have to take everything with a pinch of salt.

However, I HAVE noticed (on Twitter)how her words are but words, her actions contradict her words all the time it seems, specifically as soon as someone who is unwilling to hop on the "pucker up to KF" bandwagon raises concerns over her revealing certain private information about Michael - friends or not - or even has a question to her disliking, she immediately goes into the agressive attack mode, belittling and name-calling. I've experienced it first hand simply because I asked her what some of the private things she reveals about him have to do with the quest for justice. I saved a couple of her replies to me, others are still on her page. I then deleted my comments to her because I didn't want to boost her number of "mentions" and possibly contribute more people to go to her page and get brainwashed.

Another thing I wanted to say, some of the comentators here have pointed out Michael's look at KF when she was all over him during the MB documentary. I noticed that too, another thing I have noticed is how immediately after that there was this slight movement of Michael's arm and then hand as if to signal her to get up off him. And sure enough she did. Also, I understand she was Mj's friend ( though not necessarily as close as she claims, friends come in different levels), but from those subtle signals he seemed to be annoyed with her for talking as much as she did, as if though she is the one being interviewed. And sure enough, after she did ease up off him, she slowly stopped talking. Watch it again and let me know if I am seeing things that weren't there. Pay attention to his eyes and then arm/hand, and her reaction. I understand that friend can be protective at times, but seriously, the woman doesn't know to differentiate time and place and what is or isn't appropriate. At least it seems so to me.

You may think I am saying all this because of the rude way in which she replied to me, but I can assure that I could care less, I observed her for a while not to "learn" about Michael but to learn about KF and where she stood. I don't think she is evil BUT I do think that she is pretentious, among other things.

Love your blog, please continue the good work. Everyone makes mistakes, but I love how you don't claim to know everything and discuss with people in good taste. Thank you for that Bonnie.

  64. I'm sorry Bonnie, I promise I won't focus on KF so much in the future (God willing), however I just have these sudden recollections of what I DID see and hear directly from her.

It was in the interview she have along with the other two stylists, when the interviewer asked her about Michael's surgery. She said there (when asked) that she DID personally think Michael went too far with the surgery, but that she never told him that and (I believe) she said she always told him he looked beautiful.

Well, I agree, Michael always looked beautiful to me as well, and I also agree that he did go too far with the surgery (but I don't judge him for it in any way), HOWEVER, how dare she accuse so many people of being enablers etc as she did when she herself so obviously falls into the same category???

I'm sorry, but if she were REALLY that close of a friend to him for so many years, one would think she would at least at SOME POINT have voiced her concern to him? Again, I am becoming more and more convinced that Karen, like most others around Michael, did not DARE object to anything out of fear that he would "kick her out" of his inner circle, in which she like others so desparately wanted to be. Not to forget getting paid.

The problem I have with her is she presents herself as his friend FIRST, as an employee SECOND, when itisthe other way around.

Why, I went to dinners and clubs with my bosses (women lol) in the past as well, sometimes they took me out and sometimes I took them out, somtimes I was invited to dinner at their home...none of that means that we were best buddies, rather, those were business relationships of friendly nature. And we often disagreed with each other (business and personally) without even thinking of fear over possibly getting fired. Now say if I were as close of friends with those employers as KF claims to have been with Michael, than multiply the absence of fear of being terminated (business and otherwise) by thousands!

Sorry my English is a bit rusty lately, hence lack of briefness and conciseness of speech, LOL!

I'm going to get people upset with me, and I don't mean to, but the main reason he is able to do that is some of the songs are lip-synched, with all due respect to Michael. Michael was very fit but extended sessions of singing and dancing is very hard to do as you can imagine, even for a fit person. You'll notice that during some of the songs that aren't lip-synched he's really working hard to get his breath and sing the lyrics. Despite that, it's still an amazing concert and an amazing performance on his part.

Point well taken. Lisa Marie and Natalie Cole have been criticized in the past for doing postumus duets with their dads. At first I thought, "How could they!" But then realized, why shouldn't they! Both have done beautiful duets their late fathers.

Your comment, Bonnie, is making me want to revise my comment about Jermaine performing his brothers work. Certainly if Jermaine is performing his brothers work in a true spirit of tribute and not in an attempt to "be" Michael in some way I don't have a problem with it.

  68. Bonnie, I don't like that threat you received. This is just not good. You take care of yourself and take care of your hand. I broke my right wrist last year and it still causes me pain.

Re Jermaine - I think he did suffer from jealousy of Michael and really it must have been hard being the elder brother and lead singer being overtaken in every way. He wrote that awful song - was it something to the Badd? However, I believe Michael's death has caused Jermaine to grow up and really appreciate the special person that his brother is. Sibling rivalry can evolve and can transform itself with understanding and maturity. I think Jermaine has talent still and I'd like to see him nurture it in his own way.

Okay, I have to have the last word lol. Michael looks smokin hot in that Brazilian video. Sorry but I couldn't help myself. If you look at some close up photos of it (scroll towards the bottom of the link), you can see the vitiligo patches on his arms and chest. He didn't bother to cover it up with make up which is unusual:

(GASP!!!) NO WAY DUDE!!! Seriously (oh I'm upset with you now, LOL), I think it was common knowledge that during performances (especially concerts) because of what you mentioned . . . sound quality, that Michael used play-back on some of the more physically demanding songs. It is also evident in YANA, when girls are practically plowing into him on stage when he is trying to sing that song. Michael wanted his audience to get every bit of quality that they heard on the albums and saw on the videos. However, on some of his T.V. appearances if you watch him, Michael's "vocal ticks", hiccups and those sharp intakes of air that add to the songs are very creative but effective masks to his breathing. It was amazing, he uses these "ticks" and "hiccups" to breathe where there really isn't a breathing cue. He creates them. Yes, he still gets out of breath, but his timing using these vocal techniques of his . . . and he TAUGHT HIMSELF! Those "breaks"

He's been doing this so long, he knows how to adapt and innovate. But I agree with you on his concerts and his more rambunctious T.V. performaces. His concern for quality above all else.

Sandy, that makes me smile. I just cry sometimes some of the things I see being said about Jermaine (not here, but some OTHER FB pages) and it is so not fair. Honestly what did that man do besides vent his frustration in a song 20 years ago? He and Michael had it out, end of story. I watch Jermaine in interviews talk about his brother and I see absolutely no malice, jealousy or hate there. I'm not saying there was not some resentment over careers . . . but that's normal. They were not hateful though.

Jermaine is seeing quite a backlash from certain people who have been called out on their deceptions. Even Katherine "got it" from that Muzik. Just unbelievable.

I think people are going to be very surprised when this all plays out, how "functional" that family really is when they need to pull together. Frankly, I am proud of them right now.

Jermaine - I stated what I felt to SandyK above on this. I do not deny that some rivalry and jealousy took place, it's NORMAL . . . especially for a family that big, doesn't even need to be in show business. But I believe that all changed during that God-awful trial.

Michael Brazil vid - Ah . . . you have "Michael-arms-Syndrome" . . . not used to seeing them are you? LOL! He looked good in both videos. I have photos of where his makeup "sweated" off during the making of the Brazillian version of the video. You could see it on his chest too the brown patches. Even some slighly on his face. I still believe there was a spiritual purpose that God had for Michael suffering that Vitiligo. And amazingly Michael continued to do, give, and love. (Thank you Michael)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I'd like to catch on the vitiligo mention.... I suppose many of you have read (either on the VindicateMJ website or on the Allforlove blog) the amazingly brilliant and well-researched posts by David Edwards, regarding (as of lately, because he has done so many) the Media Hypocrisy when it comes to Michael's settlement with those oh-so-lovely Chandlers... anyway, on that post, David also included a frankly HEARTWRENCHING video from YouTube, a video that is about the phenomenon of the White Negroes (black people who either suffered from albinism or vitiligo) in the 19th Century. They were Slaves, of course. And they were exposed as freaks on these inhuman, shameful exhibitions where white people would pay to see them. Many were young boys, even children, others were grown men. They were treated like freaks, worse than animals. Of course back in those days there wouldn't be much of a medical awareness regarding this sort of conditions, and obviously, too, a black man suffering from vitiligo makes for an unusual sight, given the stark contrast of the black and the white-as-snow depigmented skin.
I saw the video and read the descriptions that accompany it, and just sat there crying, overwhelmed with rage and anguish.
This is what Michael was subjected to, in the 20th and 21th century. History teaches us nothing.
He didn't have it any easier than those poor slaves, did he. Under the eyes of the world 24/7, and his condition used either to denigrate him because "he made it up" or as proof that he was guilty of the allegations "because the boy saw the spots". How interesting how all of a sudden the vitiligo became so real, uh?
    The neverending twisting and turning.
Really, how he mantained his sanity and his graciousness through all of it, all of it - is beyond me. I am in awe of Michael's braveness.

  76. "Heard you are about to have a big surprise happening soon though, can't wait to see how you take it."

I don't like the sound of that threat either, Bonnie. They had better be limiting themselves to cyber threats.

We all need to remember to do those protection prayers as requested.

Here's a good in-depth article about Mottola (it's a few years old), sounds like his life has been book material. The article subjects include: Sony, mobs, NBC, MSNBC (always makes me thing of Bashir now), leaving Sony etc. Interesting though, the only mention of Michael was this:
"He would sometimes hire detectives to check up on artists who were litigious with the company—most famously Michael Jackson."

I thought Michael had Mottola "pushed out" of Sony? This article gave other reasons, in some depth.

There might be some good tidbits in there, Bonnie.

    Some excerpts:

"... there was no disguising the fact that the best-known and most flamboyant executive in the music business was out in a force play."

"Sony even picked up the check for Celine Dion’s Fiji honeymoon."

“Sony was a real oligarchy,” says one longtime executive.

"Mottola also had a Monopoly-board hunger for real estate."

"Mottola also has a customized bulletproof car with a driver on standby;"

"On the downside, one executive who’s known Howard Stringer for years says Stringer told him Mottola ran his team like a little Mafia family. And loyalty to the dysfunctional famiglia was prized. Another insider remembers sitting with Stringer last year in the Sony Club dining room when Michele Anthony walked past the table. “Tommy will know about this lunch in fifteen seconds,” Stringer said under his breath."

"“When Tommy has it in for somebody he can be unbelievably petty. He’ll call maître d’s to make sure people aren’t given tables,” says an acquaintance. Mottola’s tactics were often brass-knuckle, but those who’ve known him for many years describe him as a gangster groupie who purposefully adopted the shiny-suited look of a Mafia lieutenant."

"After taking over as head of Warner Music in 1995, Michael Fuchs remembers being invited to lunch at Mottola’s sprawling house in Bedford. Fuchs asked Mottola who was the biggest influence on the house. “But I think he misheard the question,” says Fuchs. “ ‘The biggest influence on my life, everything,’ he said, ‘was Morris Levy.’ Morris Levy was the godfather of the music business!”

Morris Levy was a nightclub impresario and record-label founder with ties to the Genovese crime family who eventually wound up in prison for conspiracy to commit extortion. Mottola had spent some time with Levy in the seventies when they both had farms in Columbia County. A frequent house guest at Levy’s was Father Louis Gigante, a priest and the brother of the stubble-cheeked, bathrobe-wearing mobster Vinny “Chin” Gigante. Mottola says he has optioned Father Gigante’s life story for a film."

"But Mottola, a tough guy to the last, isn’t waiting on Sony. He immediately started working the phones, and already, the man who helped broker the Grammys’ return to New York has secured a preliminary deal with VH1 to conduct a star search with the catchy title Destination Diva. He is also most definitely going ahead with a management company. The word is that Mottola is already trying to poach major stars from their managers."

"Michael looks smokin hot in that Brazilian video."

I agree and I LOVE that video...uhhh...short film! The Rio version is the first time I EVER saw Michael in jeans. Oh my!

I love both versions though - each tugs at different parts of me.

Making of They Don't Really Care About Us (both versions) with Spike Lee (lots of info in descriptions for each video - 3 parts - "Musically, it is an aggressive hip-hop production about social ills."):

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh9-VcCEu8c

I was really curious about Michael's (3 different ones) and the drummer's t-shirts in the Rio version and wondered what OLODUM meant, what he was saying by wearing that.

    About OLODUM:

"In 1995 recorded the video clip of Michael Jackson´s “They don´t care about us”." (The drummers)

"OLODUM is not only a band, but also NGO, active and engaged in many social and educational projects. Their name is an abbreviation of Olodumaré, the Yoruba expression for god of all gods."

"The group has served as a backbone for the Black community in Salvador and throughout Bahia and is a crucial part of the Black Movement “movimento Negro” in Brasil. Through their organization they seek to recover the roots, value and preservation of the Black culture and stand up against racism. "

"Freedom, human rights, equal opportunities, peace, love, liberty, education, respect and fight against social injustice and racism are just some of the keywords in connection with the organization that will also reflect in the lyrics of the band OLODUM."

    http://www.latitudemusic.com/olodum/

    Heck of an endorsement!

Think to the song, "Black or White" where Michael's lyrics state: "I'm not going to spend my life being a color." There you are.

There's also a scene in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (w/Kevin Costner) where a little girl asks Morgan Freeman's character: "Why did God paint you?" His beautiful answer: "Because Allah loves wondrous variety."

And, so it is/was with Michael too...

As far at the new round of threats from whomever this Briana troll is, geez...I fail to see where she and those like her seem to think that such helps support her pals and KF's "cause" in any way. All that it does is diminish their credibility and drive people away. So, if that is their true goal in all of this, they're doing a very good job.

Oh to add more, Chris Brown will never be Michael but he gave a tribute on BET singing Michael’s songs dancing like Michael and wearing like Michael. I can understand if the fans want Jermaine to have his own unique style, but as Bonnie said when you do tribute you have to use the songs and the dancing style of the person you’re giving tribute too, and that’s what tribute means. if Jermaine is using his brother singing and dancing style to advance his own career then maybe we can fuss about it. For tribute, I think we should treat him the same way like others who gave and continue to give tribute to Michael and we are not harsh on them.

  81. I am speaking for myself here, concerning MJ's Vitiligo,

I think MJ was soooooo COOL that if he never covered his blotches with make-up, I would NOT have a problem with it.

I would have eventually gotten used to it and would have been so impressed with his performance that after a while, I wouldn't have even noticed it anymore.

As for his Lype-Syncing, that's okay too. It's his voice anyway.

And my opinion is, if you want to hear him sing .....buy the record, but if you want to see him perform.....go to the concert.

You can't see him dance and perform on a record.

So why should he sing for real in concert.

Isn't the reason for going to a concert, to SEE the artist Perform?

Like I said, if you want to HEAR him sing......buy the record.

I also believe this should hold true for all the other singers and their concerts.

    I am very Pro-Lype-Syncing.

I just don't see what's the big deal!

Aida - You can't be serious . . . Did you see who supposedly "unearthed" this manuscript? Roger Friedman! The same goat that wrote slime about Michael throughout and before the trial. Sony's pocket-journalist! That is garbage. Nobody would believe that Jermaine ever let that slimeball get hold of any of Jermaine's words.

Please edit that link off my blog, that is pure trash. Nevermind . . . I'll take care of it.

I have a hard time believing what is on that blog about Jermaine peddling a book about Michael back in 2003. There are no citations listed, no proof. Anybody could write that stuff.

Anyway, I think he probably learned his lesson with the backlash of his BAD song.

    I've found this:

"Jackson Family Associates: Jermaine Didn't Write Michael Jackson Tell-All
Sources: Jermaine Jackson Didn't Pen Trashy Tell-All"

"Jermaine's own Jackson family memoir remains unreleased because publishers said it "didn't have any dirt."

Well Bonnie, my first thought was it being a prominent symbol of Freemas0ns who appear to be all tied into the direction society is going in, that Michael was speaking to them - "You can never kill me".

As I get to know more about Michael's genius, it could even be a challenge - the all-seeing eye of God versus mas0nry, that it represents both, that God is watching "them" and protecting him.

    What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Yes Bonnie, I sure did see who "uncovered" the manuscript. Big fat RED FLAG!

  97. When I said this:

I meant more like what mas0nry represents...the degradation of society, establishment, control, secret societies etc. They leave their symbolism in many public places but the one I am most familiar with is their disturbingly weird, apocalyptic murals in Denver Airport.

  98. My apologies about the link Bonnie.

I do ask you to bear with me since I am sort of new in all this. I am not familiar with all the names, characters and players.

I did not think to doubt the existence of the manuscript considering that (old) song of Jermaine's. so I thought "No, you did not repeat that mistake Jermaine".

But I do agree with that blogger on one thing, it IS a miracle that no one wanted to publish that "book".

Again, my apologies Bonnie but as I said, I am fairly new to all this and there is a LOT of info to sift through and commit to memory.

Thank you, I always wondered what the t-shirt was all about whenever I watched ‘TDCAU-Rio version”.

I would like to invite you and/or your readers to comment on the following: In “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” final episode Jermaine is leaving Tito’s house and is saying goodbye to his brothers Tito & Marlon.

He shakes Marlon’s hand and says “Marlon, Stay up!”
Marlon says “Excuse me?” with a puzzled look on his face.
Jermaine (now off camera) says “Stay Black!” and Marlon laughs.

(I think this is an accurate transcript – but I made it myself so feel free to correct anything I’ve got wrong - this particular scene takes place about 30 minutes into the episode as it aired on Australian TV)

This kind of comment (Stay Black!) confuses me. Perhaps the Americans, particularly any African American readers, could explain if this is an innocent expression that I am not understanding due to our cultural differences? (I’m a white Irish Australian). That I might be taking it too literally? Or just over reacting to a harmless content and it is not intended as a barb against Michael?

  101. CONTINUED:

Some MJ fans may have seen on YouTube interviews Michael did with Molly Meldrum, who is Australia’s leading music TV personality/journalist.

In addition to interviewing Michael, Molly also interviewed both Janet & Jermaine on numerous occasions.

In this article Molly says this:
"(Jackson's brother) Jermaine would often tell me that for Michael it was really hard where the rest of the boys ... were able to go out and play with their friends, Joe, their father always insisted that Michael would have to keep rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing.
"So he spent a lot of his life almost in the house itself and when he wasn't rehearsing he was watching shows like The Partridge Family, My Three Sons, Leave It To Beaver, whatever, where there were no Afro-American actors in any of those sitcoms.
“And he started to think that the only way he would make it in the world was to be white, you know, which was horrendous."

I think Molly Meldrum is undeniably wrong in his comments (about Michael wanting to be white, not all the good stuff he says about Michael’s talent!) but what alarms me more is where, or should I say from who, did he get these false impressions?

(It is worthwhile to read the whole article because Molly’s comments about the record labels lack of recognition of what Michael Jackson would become is telling, don’t you think? This was before “Off the Wall” so 1977-1978….Not Sony but their predecessor?)

First, I suggest you catch up by spending some time reading Bonnie's past blog posts and links.

"SUPPOSED" is the key word here, you said it yourself. It's the same as I stated earlier about the "book". No proof, just words...compelling words that suck a lot of people in just as they have you. So, they mention a "lawyer" (no name, nothing tangible), submitting "tapes" for review...where's the proof?!? These people are down dog dirty liars! They're playing the "BIG LIE" game, knowing people will be more likely to believe a big one than a small one, it's RAMPANT! They're toying with people's minds by creating mental pictures using keywords such as tape and lawyer, knowing that most people will look no further and accept their WORDS as fact. Bold faced lies! Human Nature - it's easier for lazy people to believe than to do some digging for TRUTH!

Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World are eye-opening reads.

THE ARTICLE IN THE LINK HAS BEEN DEBUNKED! If there were any such tapes why can they not be found on YouTube or anywhere else? Why is it that all we have heard of them is in an article, spread around on blogs, that has been proven false? You can bet that if there were any such tapes with Jermaine's voice dishing dirt on Michael that they would be splashed EVERYWHERE for the taking and spreading!

What has happened to people's critical thinking skills and why are so many of Michael's fans not catching on? Afterall, he was a VERY critical thinker! A big part of his mission - to awaken people to recognize the lies, to dig deeper, to become informed, to not believe everything they are told, to question validity, to prove or disprove, to stop gossiping and NOT SPREAD THE LIES.

Let's not forget what Michael told us in Tabloid Junkie:

    It's slander
You say it's not a sword
But with your pen you torture men
    You'd crucify the Lord
And you don't have to read it, read it
And you don't have to eat it, eat it
To buy it is to feed it, feed it
So why do we keep foolin' ourselves

Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
    Don't make it factual

HOW MUCH MORE REMINDING DO WE NEED?!?

I mean no offense, I know you're new aida. I'm speaking to all who may be taken in by such trash.

    Case CLOSED!

Join City Youth and change the world!

Remember FEMA - Federal Emergency Management Agency? (It's mentioned in the video.) It was the agency set up to assist areas in America hit by (primarily) natural disasters. Now, it has become part of the Dept. of Homeland Security. So, as far as I am aware, there is no agency to help the citizenry in times of disaster. Thus, the lack of response when hurricane Katrina hit. (Though that is not the only reason there was little to no help for those people and areas devastated by Katrina.)

    Propaganda defined:

"Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position. As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political agenda. Propaganda can be used as a form of political warfare."

    Source:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda

With all due respect truthbtold2all, and this is WAY off the subject of discussing justice for Michael, but this video and the others are just bizarre propaganda. Any group/organization can be accused of being controlling in this way. Who is making and paying for these particular videos???? I'm NOT trying to promote Obama, or any politician for that matter, but the accusation that is being made of Obama in these videos could just as easily be made of any politician. These videos don't present a serious objective analysis of what Obama may or may not be doing. It is a distortion and is the very definition of propaganda. These videos are solely used to get an emotional response NOT to educate, especially when they use images of Hitler. Talk about the use of a "loaded message!" This so called "information" is NOT being provided impartially. Where is their money coming from?? I'll guarantee you'll find it very difficult to find the answer to that question...and for a reason and it's for the same reason it's been hard to determine with certainty who is funding TINI, to bring it back to Bonnie's blog. As far as these videos on Obama are concerned, the people that make such videos scare me FAR more than Obama ever could.

This kind of propaganda is NOT information, it is NOT education. It is mis-information of the worst kind and should be condemned when it comes from ANY source.

Again, with the utmost respect to you, truthbtold2all, please, please, please, don't use these videos as a reference to base an opinion on whether it be Obama or anyone else for that matter. We all need to do our own research and not be puppets of someone else’s agenda whether it be a politician or those that make these kind of videos. If I bought into these videos, I'm in affect becoming a puppet of someone else's agenda, someone else's money, and someone else's propaganda. This is why I've decided to spend time on this issue.

  105. (Continued)

To bring it back to Bonnie's blog, negative propaganda has been used to hurt Michael Jackson and his family. Certainly Michael was never a politician and in fact his JW religion FORBID him from becoming one or even commenting on politics publically, but he was a public person and he did have influence and there were those that wanted to curtail that influence, perhaps to the point of what happened last year. As far as that's concerned, I think that bigger picture will always be a mystery and will be endlessly debated for decades. Some people may end up going to prison in time, but the bigger machinery (monied corporate elites whether it be at Sony or any corporation) that controls the entertainment industry, and, by the way, politicians, will largely be left untouched by the legal system. They only place they can be affected is to target what they love most in the world and that is MONEY. Boycott's are a great way to send that message. (To note, you won't find Michael commenting on politicians or politics in general anywhere. However, he did encourage people to NOT rely on politicians. He encouraged people to effect changes in their world at the community level. The word "community" over the last couple of years has been turned into a 4 letter word and it shouldn't be.)

On hurricane Katrina, I agree with you that those that suffered, and still suffer, from Katrina were victims of more than just a lack of help from an agency mandated to do so. I totally agree with you there. What happened to them was shameful and criminal!

I was responding to Bonnie's comment (in quotes) about "Hitler" and our youth being targeted for "assimilation". So, with all due respect SandyK, maybe you should chastise her along with me for straying so far off subject? If indeed, it is off subject.

"Propaganda defined:" and "These videos are solely used to get an emotional response NOT to educate, especially when they use images of Hitler."

Are you serious? Do you understand the implications of that statement? So anything warning us of Hitler's tactics being used AGAIN...a well-honed repeat performance, is immediately discounted as misinformation?!? Have you done your homework on what is going on in the political and corporate world, the campaign of DISinformation that is being pounded into our brains daily, hourly, every minute while laws are passed that strip our liberties in direct violation of The Constitution? That attitude is exactly why the Hitler strategy is so (potentially) effective. Nobody wants to believe "The Big Lie", it's against our very nature to even contemplate the possibility.

"We all need to do our own research and not be puppets of someone else’s agenda..."

Agreed. But, you have NO IDEA the amount of research I have done on just about every major "official" story and claim spoon-fed to us by the puppet masters. I research those and agendas with an open and analytical mind, discernment required. Eventually information comes together and there is no denying TRUTH versus LIES.

I have NO affiliation...political, corporate or otherwise. The only thing I AM actively involved in is serving children...and continuing my self-education - eyes wide open.

Watch the advertisements for the City Year campaign (part of Americorps) and Obama's announcements of it directly if you don't like the video I posted that sums it up (which includes clips of both the advertising campaign and Obama talking about it), quite accurately IMO. Then maybe do some research, including: incentives to join, gov't grants, ties to Obama Care, civilian military, MANDATORY service, what other people are saying along with what they have discovered because their insight too can be valuable. I have enough information to be aware of where a program like that in the hands of a corrupt government is headed.

I see that video as a commendable attempt to wake people up. You though are entitled to your opinion SandyK, with all due respect.

For those with eyes to see and ears to hear...who can see past the glossy exterior...

Americorps is a gov't program, like so many others hiding behind "non-profit" status, follow the trail. So, how about some modern day gov't propaganda?:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4zqXKMJdBA

Girl in City Year ad - "For me the red jacket is about shedding our personal skin and taking on a universal skin. It's about creating one world and your work is going to be powerful." Indoctrination?
Compilation of City Year ads + some info:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2iRmniRJ8A&NR=1

"In fact, Americorps and its subsidiary organizations, including City Year, fall under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security." I do see your point and it is a worthy point to make. Michael did try to warn us. Due to his JW beliefs, he wouldn't comment on politicians directly but he did say to not entirely rely on them. When I mentioned this being "way off topic" I simply meant to suggest that this bigger issue you touch on is probably beyond the scope of this blog IMO. (Of course, Bonnie can respond to this better than I can.)

Also, I do understand that you were commenting on Bonnie's reference to the manipulation of youth. Hitler was evil incarnate and brilliant, in a frighteningly twisted and horrific way, with this kind of manipulation. I agree with you that ALL politician's need to be scrutinized in what they do in "our" name. Also, I don't think that voters do the research they should. I applaud your research. You're making an effort that more people should be making. My problem with the videos is that although they may contain some "information" the package they use to convey that "information" obscures that "information" so all one thinks about is "Hitler." That can be extremely mis-leading especially for people that don't do the level of research that you've done.

    truthbtold2all said,

"So, how about some modern day gov't propaganda?"

I agree. The YouTube video you posted is also propaganda in every sense of the word.

In Michael's case, I know you would agree that there were ignorant people that created propaganda about him based on lies. Images were used, distorted and misused, awful jokes were made, his words taken out of context and all this was repeated over and over in different media outlets based on what certain people thought were "facts." Of course, many of those same people knew they were peddling lies. This propaganda had one purpose only and that was to destroy Michael Jackson and his ability to influence. In fact, I believe the attacks made on him are an example of the worst case of character assassination of a public figure in the last 100 years. (You may be aware of the Jack Johnson story. He was an African American boxer of the early 20th century and experienced a similar case of character assassination based on both ignorance and intentional deception by the powers of the day. In my research about Michael Jackson, I learned that Michael was very familiar with Mr. Johnson's story.)

I think ultimately, my point is that propaganda of any kind should be view with suspicion and should not be used as a research tool for obtaining objective facts. It should be seen for what it is, a snap shot in time reflecting often biased attitudes, feelings and emotions.

    Peace to you.

"in our name" - very well said. The reputation they create of us as a nation of people often just makes me cringe in shame.

Yes, I am aware of the propaganda created around Michael and the character assassination of Jack Johnson. They seem to do that a lot to blacks.

"I think ultimately, my point is that propaganda of any kind should be view with suspicion and should not be used as a research tool for obtaining objective facts."

True, but what some pass off as propaganda isn't always propaganda. In the case of that first video, using a propaganda type format to present facts as a warning of propaganda and agendas, turning the table on them, using their propaganda against them...well, I thought it was pretty ingenious. But, I do see where it would turn some people off.

My research lead me to those videos, the videos were not used as a research tool.

truthbtold2all said, "I hadn't known that about his JW beliefs...is that part of JW doctrine?"

Yes, it is. Although JW doctrine does recognize and respect the authority of the state, in regards to personal involvment in politics, military service, even saluting the flag, JW doctrine strongly discourages participation in these activities and encourages the neutrality of its members. This is based on their interpretation of the Bible and what they believe is a coming theocracy.
