The Love of Christ
Thinking about how horrible I feel, heavy head, heavy face, stuffed up, sinuses weigh a ton, scratchy throat and an eerie pall over the whole day today.
Then I remembered; today, over two thousand years ago, the family and friends of the man named Jesus probably felt exactly the way I do today, but for a different reason: He had died the day before.
They must have cried their eyes out; being of heavy heart and feeling hope was lost. Their comforter was dead. The man of grace and truth was crucified, uttering not a word against his accusers.
It may have even been misty and rainy as the skies mourned, just as it was here today. I felt them, and then I stopped complaining. A thankful heart took over and the empathy I was reminded to feel filled it up;
The darkest hour is just before dawn. We have not seen the worst of the great tribulation yet. Many lies are still to be told. Many souls are still going through struggle and truth is still being unveiled.
The prophecy blessing recited by Isaac in Genesis 49 is still to be fulfilled; but to those who jealously guard the gate - don't forget Ezekiel 37:16-19. If you don't trust God, you will lose it all.
Remember what has already been given. The stone of Israel comes from the God if Jacob, not from the engravers of men. He has already died for you. All he asks is that you call on him.
God bless you, and I love you Jesus!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
